Who we are

Education for Development (EFD) is an international organization that works with Vietnamese partners to improve and expand their educational services for disadvantaged children and youth.

EFD firmly believes these services should be provided and managed by Vietnamese organizations. Thus, it is EFD's mission to assist Vietnamese organizations with the resources and capacity to provide effective, direct service to disadvantaged children and youth so they can have the opportunity to develop themselves to their full potential.

What we do

Many local social organizations operate in Ho Chi Minh City and in Vietnam to address the plight of disadvantaged children and youth. EFD's mission is to help our local partners improve and expand their services for disadvantaged children and youth by strengthening their skills and by funding small projects to help them become sustainable and self-reliant.
